Jon’s improv journey began in 2010. Since then he’s performed in 200+ improvised shows, plays, and musicals with the Baltimore Improv Group. He’s taken 25+ workshops with improv legends like Miles Stroth, Susan Messing, Craig Cackowski, Jill Bernard, Will Leura, Mark Sutton, Asaf Ronen, Paul Vaillancourt , Brian O’Connell, Rick Andrews, Peter McNerny, and Chris Trew. He completed iO Chicago's five-week Summer Intensive in 2011, and his improv festival resume includes Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Chicago, DC, NYC, and Providence. Since moving to Cincinnati in late 2015, Jon is the Executive Director and Team Building Director for Improv Cincinnati. He is is over eight feet tall.
Sean is a writer, teacher, comedian, and pub trivia champion who worked in Hollywood on network sitcoms for nearly a decade. Writing credits include shows you’ve heard of. Assistant credits include shows you don’t remember. He’s studied and performed improv at Second City in Chicago, Upright Citizens Brigade in L.A., iO West, and festivals across the country. Locally he’s a member of ComedySportz, Dinner Detective, Improv Cincinnati, OTRimprov, and now Cin City. Sean thinks you look really good today and he loves what you’ve done with your hair.
Charlie Roetting (in the pink) holds a BFA in Theatre from Northern Kentucky University and an MFA in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy as well as Certificates in Improvisation from the Upright Citizens Brigade and iO West. Charlie has improvised, acted, taught, and directed extensively in Cincinnati and in New York and LA. He is a founding member of HOMUNCULUS MASK THEATRE in NYC, as well as the LA based improv team, thrashtown!. He is a former performer and teacher with Cincinnati's own OTRImprov, a featured player for Cin City Comedy, and he directs Northern Kentucky University's improv team, THIS SIDE UP
Amanda Monyhan is a locally grown actress, comedian, dancer, clown and improviser. She received her BFA in Theater/Acting from NKU in 1999. Currently she is a joyful and proud founding member of Cin City Comedy and OTRi's family friendly ComedySportz Cincinnati. You can catch her performing on various local improv house teams for Improv Cincinnati (Veracity and War Candy) and OTRimprov (Hands on Dots). She is also a part of the dynamic duo Scissor Set (with Dylan Shelton) and the improvised game of Girl Talk. Amanda is active in various murder mysteries around town and is a Healthcare Clown with Healthy Humor at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She has been a performer at the Ohio Renaissance Festival since 2014 where she plays Dipsy in the Washing Well Wenches stage show. Recently Amanda had the honor and profound experience of being a storyteller with TrueTheater's evening of TrueCamp stories. When not performing she loves to hang out with her cat Bamboo and make art or visit the great outdoors. Fun Fact: Amanda was featured as the Tosh.0 Video Viewer Pick of the Week on Halloween 2011.
Sydney Vollmer is a company member, Level 1 instructor, and performer at Improv Cincinnati. She has been on the house team Wampus for the past two years, and sometimes performs with Veracity and at corporate events. Sydney has a business degree from the University of Cincinnati. She is an actress who has performed in films such as Netflix's Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, Goat, and Heartland. She is also an ensemble member at The Dinner Detective interactive murder mystery show. Her favorite improv warmup is 7 Things.
