Level 4: Characters & Status - Expand Your Range

Improv scenes provide us the opportunity to be any character we can imagine. This class will teach students several ways to generate characters, as well as the dynamics of status and how to portray it. Includes a student showcase.
Classes are weekly for seven weeks. The final class will be a performance showcase for friends and family.
Requirements: Completion of Level 3 or approval from CI staff. Recommended for improvisers with some performance experience. Must be 18+ years old.
Instructor: Tracy Connor
Tracy has a degree in theatre from Emerson College in Boston and has received additional theatrical training at Second City, Steppenwolf Theatre, Loose Moose Theatre with Keith Johnstone in Calgary, Alberta and the British-American Drama Academy in Oxford, England. A veteran improviser and performer, Tracy spent a dozen years as a company member of Los Angeles Theatresports now known as Impro Theatre. TV Credits include Huff; Push, Nevada and In Living Color. Film credits include Home Alone, Dutch, and indie For Pete’s Wake.
