Jon’s improv journey began in 2010. Since then he’s performed in 200+ improvised shows, plays, and musicals with the Baltimore Improv Group. He’s taken 25+ workshops with improv legends like Miles Stroth, Susan Messing, Craig Cackowski, Jill Bernard, Will Leura, Mark Sutton, Asaf Ronen, Paul Vaillancourt , Brian O’Connell, Rick Andrews, Peter McNerny, and Chris Trew. He completed iO Chicago's five-week Summer Intensive in 2011, and his improv festival resume includes Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Chicago, DC, NYC, and Providence. Since moving to Cincinnati in late 2015, Jon is the Executive Director and Team Building Director for Improv Cincinati. He is is over eight feet tall.
Tone Branson is an improviser and doodler. He has been with IC for over three years. He likes to draw people at the airport when they are not looking.
Mary O’Connell is a writer and lover of comedy. She began learning the art of improv at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in 2014, and went on to complete improv and sketch writing intensives at Second City Chicago, and sketch writing workshops with comedian/writer Kevin McDonald. Mary has been involved in Improv Cincinnati since its origins. In addition to performing, coaching, and teaching at IC, Mary wrote and directed, “The Twi-Lit Zone” holiday show, and wrote material for the variety show, “Live at Jabba’s Palace.”
Delmar Davis is an entrepreneur, wellness coach, and former HR exec who took classes at Improv Cincinnati for professional development, then got bit by that infernal improv bug. He completed the IC academy and studied further in workshops and at festivals. He also had a former life as a jazz artist and is a founding member and Musical Director of Hot Mic—The Improvised Musical. He has taught Musical Improv and co-created and taught the Improv for Life class at IC. He also assists with Team Building and Applied Improv workshops.

Colin Thornton has been performing, teaching, and directing improv for sixteen years. He is founder of Kentucky’s longest-running improv troupe, HappyGAS. He has studied under several mentors including Keegan Michael Key (Comedy Central’s Key & Peele), Mick Napier (author, Improvise) and TJ Jagodowski (author, Improvisation at the Speed of Life). He is a graduate of iO and The Annoyance, Chicago’s premiere schools for long-form improv. In Chicago, his production company, Glowdark, created successful shows in a variety of styles: sketch, long-form, interactive parody, and improvised stand-up. Currently, Colin is an improv instructor for Dramakinetics and Children’s Theatre of Mason, a featured player for Cin City Comedy, and the father of two lovely daughters.
